The DLE Group
David and Michael DesLauriers have been co-principals of the DLE Group, a Cayman-based merchant bank focused on deal origination of primarily resource and energy companies since 2004. Through its network of global relationships, DLE has been active in venture formation as founder or co-founder of numerous public and private mining and energy exploration, development, and production companies, operating in over 25 countries. Many have had notable exits to industry majors and participants via joint venture or trade sale. .
DLE Group itself is not a corporate entity or a parent company. It is a way of describing a group of companies that share the benefits of the DLE Family’s expertise, evaluation, guidance and funding. The DLE Family is usually one of the largest shareholders of each of the companies through several family trusts.
